Kindle Black Friday 2011 Sales
Get a great deal on an e-reader with kindle black friday 2011 savings. The Amazon produced e-reader series is set to become one of the most popular holiday gifts of the year. The limited time sale, held the day after Thanksgiving, offers a chance to snag a reader at a reduced price.
The Kindle series currently includes Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard and Kindle Fire. The latter is a newly introduced Android tablet that runs smoothly with Amazon provided services such as cloud storage and instant streaming of videos. The other models are variations of a standard e-book reader, which feature special screens designed to be easy on the eyes and won’t reflect light even in the brightest of scenarios.
Kindle, the basic model, normally carries a price tag of $79 (with advertisements appearing on screen) or $109 (no ads). Amazon announced on their Facebook page that the kindle black friday 2011 deals will include this model knocked down to $89 without ads. The sale will be part of their Lightning Deals and will be available starting at 9 a.m. PST on the Amazon website. Quantities are limited and the model is expected to see out quickly.
Official sale offers have not yet been posted for the other Kindle models but it is likely that some, if not all, will have a discount applied. Kindle Fire is likely to be the biggest seller of any tech product this holiday. At $199 full priced, the Fire is still hundreds of dollars cheaper than other Android tablets. This model combines the functionality of an e-reader with a portable entertainment system and netbook capabilities. The Fire may sell out fast during the kindle black friday 2011 rush.
Expect to benefit from the competition between the Kindle and the Nook e-reader made by Barnes and Noble. The two companies have historically raced to the lowest price to keep their device as the hot commodity. Amazon has been the clear victor but a bold price slash on Nook’s part may inspire a similar markdown on the Kindles.
Keep in mind that Target and Best Buy also stock Kindle products. Watch the websites and ads for those stores leading up to the big day to see if there’s another way to save for the kindle black friday 2011. Some stores offer gift cards for purchases made during the sales and those can be applied to a discounted Kindle at a later date.
After the e-reader is purchased, don’t forget to pick up some books. Amazon will likely put a slew of e-book titles on sale to entice customers into buying the readers. Stock up and save on your favorite titles. As always, buy fast because the kindle black friday 2011 sales will end in a matter of hours.
